National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and to provide an opportunity to promote and celebrate police-community partnerships in crime prevention efforts.

Eagle County Sheriff's Office would like to invite the community to National Night Out 2026! This family friendly event will take place on Tuesday, August 4th from 5-8pm at Freedom Park in Edwards. National Night Out, held annually by law enforcement agencies across the United States, is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community relationships. This event will feature food, kids’ activities, and a chance to interact with your local first responders.

Highlights: 

~Live Music – Enjoy performances from Dustin Lucas in Edwards, and DJ Krusher in Minturn.
~Free Food & Refreshments – Enjoy a range of delicious food and drinks while supplies last.
~Bouncy Castle – Burn off some energy
~Helicopter Landings – Weather permitting
~Touch-a-Truck – Get hands-on with an awesome display of emergency and public service vehicles! You'll see patrol cars, fire trucks, and more.
~Meet Your First Responders & Partners – Chat with your local deputies, firefighters, EMS crews, and community partner organizations.
