Water Conservation Partnership: Beyond Lawn Program

Edwards Metro District (EMD) is excited to partner with the Eagle County Conservation District (ECCD) to bring the Beyond Lawn program to our community. This initiative helps residents reduce outdoor water use while supporting native landscapes and biodiversity.
Through ECCD, EMD homeowners are eligible for an Irrigation System Rebate, offering a 50/50 cost share of up to $2,500.
An initial evaluation is required to qualify for the rebate. Homeowners who completed an evaluation last year remain eligible and do not need to schedule a new one.
Scheduling for the upcoming summer is now open. We encourage residents to book their evaluations as soon as possible, as availability is limited and appointments are expected to fill quickly.
Please note that rebate funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional ECCD Programs Available to the Public
While not funded by EMD, these ECCD programs are open to all:
- Turf Replacement Rebate – $1/sqft, up to $5,000
- Workshops – Topics include water-wise landscaping, irrigation systems, and native plant design
- Noxious Weed Cost-Share Program
- Native Grass & Wildflower Seed Sales
