Upcoming Mosquito Control Spraying in Edwards – Spring 2025

As the weather warms up, mosquito season is just around the corner! This year, EMD has once again contracted with Vector Disease Control International (VCDI) to help mitigate mosquito issues. With spring runoff increasing and snowmelt filling low-lying areas, now is the time to take action.

Regular monitoring will be conducted in active mosquito areas, including walk-throughs and larval testing to identify and address mosquito presence as early as possible. Throughout the summer, additional efforts will include nighttime applications targeted at specific areas and neighborhoods. This year, treatments will focus on Beard Creek Road, Villas at Brett Ranch, South Fork Meadows and Lake Creek Villa Meadows.

The next mosquito control spraying is scheduled for late Spring 2025 in various Edwards neighborhoods, including South Fork Meadows, Lake Creek Village, Villas at Brett Ranch and Old Edwards Estates. Spraying will also occur along Beard Creek Road near the I-70 Roundabout.
